Climbing Island Peak – High Altitude Training Programme

We managed to train (3 months) and guide 3 Climbers from Global Expedition Club Malaysia to the summit of Island Peak 6200 meter Altitude on Oct 2024. It was an honour to guide and lead them to The summit And exposed them to High Altitude And completing their High Altitude Training Programme.

We were guiding 10 Trekkers to Everest Base Camp and only 5 of them join our Island Peak Climb. We prepared an itinerary of 18days and completed the Island Peak Climb in 18days.

The team lead by Ravichandran started the summit push at 12am and move slowly in 3 Groups. The first group started together 2 & 3, but slowly move to forward and reaching the crampon point at 3-3.30am. After a short rest and putting on our crampons, we started to move higher And reach The summit at 7am.
